Day 01: Hanoi – Arrival

Picked up by our guide at the Noi Bai airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city. Enjoy a brief driving orientation tour of Hoa Kiem Lake, the French Quarter and Old Quarter of Hanoi en – route to your hotel.
You can use the next few hours to rest or explore the surroundings on your own or take a Cyclo ride through the Old Town of Hanoi.
Hanoi, a city between the rivers, built from lowland, Hanoi has many scenic lakes and sometime is called “city of lakes”. Among its lakes, the most famous are Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Bay Mau Lake…As the capital of Vietnam for almost a thousand years, Hanoi is considered to be the cultural centre of Vietnam, where every dynasty has left behind their imprint.

Day 02: Hanoi – Ha Long (L,D)

7h45 – 8h00: Pick you up at your hotel and depart to Ha long Bay.
12h00 – 12h30: Arrive at Ha Long City
12h45 – 13h00: Transfer to cruise ship
13h00: Board our Sail with soft welcome drink, check-in registration,
13h30: Have lunch on the boat where you will be satisfied by many kinds of seafood
14h30: Cruise through the emerald water between the limestone outcrops and long corridors, En route, you have chances to see many beauty spots of the world natural heritage including Fighting Cock islet, Incense Urn islet, Finger island, Toad islet, dog islet, Dragon, Horse Neck, Buffalo Head islet and many other strange shape islands.
Especially, you will be cruised to explore the mystery of Sung Sot Cave (the cave of Surprise),
16h00: Cruise to Titop beach, swimming (if the weather permitted), walking up to the top of Titop for a spectacular view to the bay, kayaking before having dinner in the romantic sunset.

20h00 – 22h00: Join some activities organized on boat like dancing, karaoke…

Day 03: Halong– Hanoi (B,L)

06h00 – 07h00: If you like enjoying Ha Long Bay’s sunrise, please get up early before 6h00 A.M.
07h00 – 08h00: Have some coffee and a tasty breakfast.
08h00 – 11h00: Cruise towards Bai Tu Long Bay for pristine scenery, stop for breathtaking swimming (If permit time).
11h00 – 12h00: Have Lunch on boat
12h00: Take boat trip back to Halong city
13h00: Road trip back to Hanoi with stop-over in Hai Duong province.
16h30: Arrive in Hanoi. Tour ends.

Day 04 : Duong lam ancient village (L)

08.00 Guide and car pick up guests at hotel then transfer to Duong lam ancient village about 50km away from Hanoi
09.00 Stopover on the way to visit Son Dong traditional sculpture village. The Son Dong wooden statues are present in many pagodas and communal houses in the Northern provinces. Visit some households in the village, see mastered the technique of making wooden statues. Walk along village road to visit Son Dong communal house and survey Viet traditional cultural with the cult of fecundity
09.30 Continue to drive to Duong Lam
Duong Lam ancient villages 110.15 Arrive Duong Lam, visit village gate, Mong Phu communal house, some ancient houses and enjoy local products: rice wine, rice cake. Go around the village to visit some cultural and historical vestiges in Duong Lam such as: Giang Van Minh worship-house, Princess Mia palace and Temple, Mia pagoda
12.30 Lunch at the Hoa sua restaurant by Son Tay ancient citadel. Free time for visiting ancient citadel
14.00 Transfer back to Hanoi
15.00 Stopover on the way to visit Tay Phuong pagoda- the best example of old typical pagoda in the Northern of Viet nam, special with Arhan statue
16.30 Visit Van Phuc silk village. Experience the process of making silk from beginning to end, and the making of conical hats. Touch Van Phuc silk which is famous for making traditional textiles throughout Vietnam and overseas. See the silk from cocoons made into fine silk threads. Wander local market in Van Phuc village
18.30 Drop guests at hotel.

Day 05: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Bich Dong – Cuc Phuong (B,L,D)

7:30 AM. Depart Hanoi for Hoa Lu by car. The drive takes approximately 2,5 hours. Once we reach Tam coc also known as Halong bay on land, we take a 1,5hour rowing bamboo boat trip in Ngo Dong River. Disembark; we cycle to Bich Dong (Jade Pagoda) about 3 kilometers from the tourist wharfs. After visiting the Pagoda, we cycle back to Tam Coc for a Buffet Lunch.
From here, we start cycling to the ancient capital Hoa Lu and visit the Temple of King Dinh and King Le. Then, we head to Cuc Phuong National Park by car, dinner, and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 06 : Cuc Phuong – Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, it takes a short distance biking to the Endangered Primate Rescue center and the Turtle conservation center. If you go with kids, these are very good places for them to study about nature preservation. We continue cycling about 2 hours through the National Park and make a couple of stops to visit Cave of Ancient Men. Continue riding to the center of the park, we will do hiking about 6km in the rain forest. Trekking in the park, you can see the diversity of fauna and flora in the best-preserved park in Vietnam. We will end the trek at the thousand-year-old tree place; taking photo with this big tall tree before getting back the car park and head back Hanoi by car.

Day 07: Hanoi – City tour – Night train to Sapa (B, L)

Today we start our one day city tour from the lobby of the hotel. We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Following by that we will wander around the city by car to see the real life of Hanoi an as well as the difference parts the city. Then we go back to hotel for short relax before transferring to Hanoi Railways station for our night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.

Day 08: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat – Sapa (B,L,D)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at vietnam typical Toursapproximately 06:30. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. Driving to Sapa is only 38 km but it takes around one hour to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, we will check into the hotel (if the room is available – check in time after 12:00). After freshening up and having breakfast we are ready to explore Sapa town. We embark on a lovely walking tour to the hill tribe village of Cat Cat, home of the H’Mong hill tribe minority people. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families that live in the area. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 09: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa – Lao Cai – Night train to Hanoi (B,L,D)

Breakfast in the hotel we then, embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hills tribe villages Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H’mong, and D’Zay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sapa and then to Lao Cai railway station by car. The guide sees you off there and takes you on the train.

Day 10: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Arriving at Hanoi Railways station at around 4:30AM, we will transfer to a hotel for our short relax and enjoy our breakfast before transferring back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip ends.
