Rattanakosin Island has been the royal and administrative center of Bangkok ever since King Rama I moved the capital to Bangkok in 1782. On this walking tour you explores the history of the Rattanakosin period including some of the area’s most famous landmarks. As you walk you will pass famous places like, the Amulet Market, Thammasat University, City Pillar Shrine, The Grand Palace and Wat Pho. However, we will also take you to a few lesser known temples and sights. This tour provides a great introduction to Bangkok and its history.
