7 Days 6 Nights
This seven day adventure starts out in Ho Chi Minh City and journeys east to the coast.
In Ho Chi Minh City, tour the city by day to soak in the sites and end with Saigon After Dark, one of our most famous tours.
From Ho Chi Minh City, we will travel through multiple beach destinations until we reach the beautiful beach town of Mui Ne.
We then head inland and venture up into the mountains of the Central Highlands towards Da Lat, a stunningly picturesque area boasting an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, and local coffee.
Winding down from the mountains on one of the most stunning lengths of road in Vietnam, we head to the country’s most famous oceanfront city of Nha Trang.
Start the day out with breakfast and then a day tour of Saigon while riding pillion on the back of a Vespa. See famous sites such as the People’s Committee Building, the famous former Opera House, Saigon’s Chinatown, the Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh market, the swanky Dong Khoi art & shopping promenade, and the historic Central Post Office and Notre Dame Church, which were both designed by Gustave Eiffel.
Then making our way to District 2, an area rarely seen by visitors, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Next stop, a safety instruction and driving course in the quieter District 7. We want to ensure that all of our guests feel comfortable & safe riding one of our vintage Vespas in Vietnam.
The late afternoon is free for exploring Saigon. For our night’s entertainment there will be a foodie night out on the town with our Saigon After Dark Tour.
We start early on the second morning of the tour, picking you up at your hotel at 8am for breakfast for a day full of exciting stops. First we take a van to the coast of Ba Ria (around 1.5 hours) and then hop on our vintage Vespa scooters. Next, take a quick tour of Vung Tau & a short safety drive course on the Vespas riding along the tropical coast through Ho Coc, Long Hai Village, & Binh Chau (160 km), Din Co Temple and the nearby graves.
Then, we stop at Long Hai hills for a spectacular panoramic view of the coastline and also see caves where Viet Cong fighters hunkered down through months of shelling from South Vietnamese forces during the war. The next leg of the journey is Long Hai Temple to the martyrs & unique Cau Dai Memorial, followed by a peaceful picnic lunch on the beach.
In the late afternoon, the tour will continue through Ho Tram and La Gi to the pristine beach at Mui Ke Ga, where we’ll decamp at Mom Da Chim Resort & Spa for dinner and an overnight stay.
This morning’s adventure takes us along the scenic coastal road from Mui Ke Ga to Phan Thiet and its sister town to the north, Mui Ne. We’ll stop at a local market, a traditional handmade rice paper manufacturer, & other local craftsmanship activities to interact with the locals.
As we get closer to Phan Thiet, we will visit ancient Cham ruins, just south of Mui Ne. After this, a succulent seafood lunch will be served at Cay Bang Restaurant. Once lunch has been eaten, the motorbike adventure will continue to a hidden village, a traditional fish sauce manufacturer, & the famous Red Sand Dunes.
Next will be some leisure time on the beach before gathering for a sumptuous Vietnamese-style seafood dinner, and for the night-owls, an evening of drinks at one of the chill nightspots on the beach. Stay the night in Mui Ne.
We’ll spend the early morning in Mui Ne visiting a fishing village & a fish sauce manufacturer, and then head to Da Lat, north east into Vietnam’s stunning Central Highlands, passing by the White Sand Dunes which are often compared to those of the Sahara.
We’ll stop on the road at farms of flowers, coffee, vegetables, strawberry and green teas, then take a break for the famous Vietnamese sandwich of Banh Mi and a local Pho (noodle soup). After checking into the Ngoc Lan Hotel in Da Lat around 4:30pm, there a few hours to kick back and relax before meeting again for dinner at 7pm. The night will be spent in Da Lat.
This morning is free to explore the winding streets of the town, as well as its famous lakeside markets. A scenic ride through and around town will show some of the best sights Da Lat has to offer, including a restored train station, a hidden abandoned train station, Tiger Den waterfall, & the colourful ceramic Chua Linh Phuoc Pagoda.
In the evening, we take a short ride an abundance of greenhouses up to an ethnic minority village to enjoy a traditional dance show and dinner. We spend another night in Da Lat.
The stretch of rural road from Da Lat down to the coast is a highlight of the seven day adventure. The recently paved road spirals down through the mountains, valleys and innumerable ethnic villages, passing cowherds tending their charges and taking in a breathtaking new vista around every corner heading back to sea level where we arrive once again at the coast.
At the busy seaside city of Nha Trang we stop for some fantastic photo opportunities and enjoy a late lunch at a gorgeous beachside restaurant. Following lunch, there is a free afternoon to lounge about at the hotel pool or check out the nearby famous beach. We meet up for dinner at Lac Canh, a famous local BBQ restaurant and then spend the night in Nha Trang.
The final day is spent riding along the stunning coast to a local Cham tower complex at Po Nagar after which we grab a beachside coffee. We then stop at a local photographer’s studio to see award winning images of the real Vietnam.
After lunch, we bid farewell as the tour ends, taking with you some incredible memories that will last forever. We can help find accommodation for the following nights if you wish to stay in Nha Trang.
