Brunei‘s Proboscis Monkey Tour Day Trip. Take a leisurely boat ride through the mangroves near Bandar Seri Begawan in search of the wild Proboscis Monkeys – only found in Borneo.

Before entering the mangrove forest, we will ride pass the famous Kampong Ayer and Sultan’s Palace (Istana Nurul Iman). The Proboscis monkeys‘ population have been decreasing and they need your help to prevent them from becoming an endangered species.
Your experienced guide will explain how you can help to protect them. Explanations on Nipah palm and Mangrove forest will be given and an opportunity to witness other wildlife in the area. White-bellied Sea Eagles, Great White Egrets and Kingfishers are commonly seen. We may be lucky enough to encounter a Salt-water Crocodile or Monitor lizard. Other mammals include otters, flying foxes and long tail macaques. Mangrove snakes and pythons may be observed on overhanging branches.
