Itinerary

Suggest flight arrival before 09:00hrs
09:00hrs Proceed to Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre
09:30-09:50hrs Sepilok Outdoor Nursery 10:00hrs Feeding time
10:30hrs Sun Bear Conservation Centre
11:15hrs depart to Sim Sim Jetty for Schedule boat depart at 12:00 to Abai Jungle Lodge.
13:15hrs Lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant.
14:00hrs Check in Abai Jungle Lodge (AJL).
16:30hrs River cruise to the best part of Kinabatangan River until the sunsets while enjoying a cup of coffee and by night falls continue night cruise to witness the fire flies as Christmas tree.
19:30hrs Dinner Serve at Jetty Facing Kinabatangan River.
After Dinner, Guided Night walk at our nature board walk (600m to 1000m)

06:30hrs Morning cruise to Pitas Oxbow lake
08:00hrs Jungle Breakfast at Abai Jungle Platform
09:00hrs Schedule boat depart to Sandakan
10:30hrs transfer to MY Nature Resort and free at leisure to explore the surrounding.
12:00hrs Lunch at MY Nature Resort
14:00hrs Free Shuttle van to Sepilok for 3pm afternoon feeding or Rainforest Discovery Center.
18:00hrs Ready at “The Flying Squirrel” Platform to witness these amazing creatures in action.
19:00hrs Dinner at MY Nature Resort.

MY Nature Resort

A boardwalk is built with approx. 1,500 ft. long, going up and down structure for you to explore before dark, The Guided night walk will be conducted by our in-house guide as an optional Tour before or after dinner depends on weather condition.

We do provide shuttle van for you to Sepilok that about 2km from resort or Rainforest Discovery Centre that about half km from resort.

To Centre: 09:00hrs & 14:00hrs, From Centre:11:00hrs & 16:00hrs

Please bring along your swimming suit if you wish to swim at our swimming pool that special design facing the rainforest.

08:00hrs Breakfast, transfer out airport for any flight departure before noon.

FAQs

Insect repellent, Torch Light, raincoat (umbrella not recommended), hat, and sun screen (sweat proof). Use good walking shoes and comfortable cotton T-shirt with long or short pant. Binoculars are provided by the guide, but you have to pay to the guide USD 10/Rm 40 per river cruise.

If clients choose early flight departure before 13:00hrs, the client have to arrange un-schedule boat depart 0730hrs from Abai by paying Rm 300.00p.p (minimum 2 paxs)

If clients choose late flight departure after 18:00, the client have to wait for few hours doing nothing at the airport, so we drop off guest at town and will re-pick up guest at 15:30hrs transfer to airport.
