Vietnam Motorbike Highland Adventure Tour Program

Day 1 : Saigon City Tour (B/L)

Mekong River tour and Visit Cu Chi tunnels , the elaborate underground community of Cu Chi, made up of 250km of tunnels and chambers and once located directly under the American base camp during the American War.. you can even try your hand shooting a AK47 at the local shooting range.. returning to Saigon we visit the Remnants War Museum, Presidential Palace. welcome dinner and drinks in the evening

Day 2 : HCMC - Nha Trang (B)

Early morning flight 40min up the coast to Nha Trang , bordered by palm-shaded long beach of white sand, Nha Trang is considered as the most charming coastal town of Vietnam, surrounded by warm turquoise water and dotted with deserted islands. with private transfer to our Hotel located close to the beach… time to relax and enjoy the local sites… dinner at the Sailing Club

Day 3 : Nha Trang (B/L)

9am riders briefing and an easy start to your first day ride of Vietnam, well away from the crazy traffic of the major cities, Nha Trang offers some great riding small country village back roads home to local fishing families, we ride down to beautiful Long Beach, take a dip or relax in the shade and a BBQ lunch

Day 4 : Nha Trang - Dalat (B/L)

160km full days relaxed pace ride up into cooler Central Highlands winding mountain road with stunning views and passing roadside waterfalls, small villages to hilltop retreat of Dalat located on the Langbian plateau 1600ft above sea level, Dalat is highly praised and well-known for its lakes, waterfalls, pine forrest and French styled villas.

Day 5 : Dalat - Lake Luk (B/L)

155km back in the saddle with more great winding roads passing through forrests and coffee plantations, Lake Luk a large natural lake formed by converging rivers and steams. we stay at a local resort over looking the lake.

Day 6 : Dalat - Buon Me Thout BMT k (B/L)

110km Visit a local minority village and take the option for a one hour elephant trek around and through the lake..heading on to Buon Me Thout through local rural farming areas Buon Ma Thout is home to several intriguing and untouched minority villages.

Day 7 : BMT to Kontum : (B/L)

230km Ho Chi Minh Trail.. the road becomes quite as you venture deeper into more remote Vietnam mountains .. Ho Chi Minh road once a strategic supply route used by the North Vietnam during the American War . the trail system was one of the greatest achievements of military engineering of the 20th century these roads are very quite and give you that real sense of adventure, simply outstanding ride with breathtaking scenery in cloud covered misty mountains.

Day 8 : Kontum to Kham Duc : (B/L)

180km Visit to a local orphanage run by nuns.. doing great work providing care for the many children, with no government assistance a small donation goes a long way here.. back on todays ride which simply just keeps getting better with almost empty roads we roll on through remote mountain villages, passing over mountain ranges covered in deep jungle… roadside waterfalls everywhere.

Day 9 : Kham Duc to A Luoi : (B/L)

200km.. endless supply of beauty following some stunning rivers and bridges.

Day 10/11 : A Luoi to Khe Sanh : (B/L)

110km With some treeless hills still showing signs of a war torn past… stopping along the way to checkout former battle sites including Hamburger Hill and US Base camp a small museum in Khe Sanh.

Day 12 : Khe Sanh to Phong Nha (B)

280km Western Ho Chi Minh road .. 3000 plus bends of the most stunning National Park and mountain road in South East Asia. World Heritage site recognised by UNESCO testified to its globally outstanding biodiversity

Day 13 : Rest Day (B)

Rest day and explore some of the worlds largest and most pristine and stunning caves .. Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave. or kick back with a few coldies on the banks of the Son River

Day 14 : Phong Nha to Khe Sanh : (B/L)

280km Western Ho Chi Minh Trail road … return to Khe Sanh .. Best ride in South East Asia.. lunch down by the wild waters of Long Dai river.

Day 15 : Khe Sanh to Hue

170km We make our way down an old mountain road to the old imperial capital of Hue on the banks of the Perfume River

Day 16 : Rest Day : (B)

Rest day and explore Hue, widely known for the magnificent architecture of it Citadels, Palaces, Royal Tombs , Pagodas and Temples … Awards night…

Day 17 : Hue to Danang : (B)

50km via Hai Phong Pass ..mountain road with ocean views. arriving into Danang. Say our good bye’s to bikes and crew. with prearranged flights out of Danang back to Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi . Our much loved bikes are loaded in trucks and sent back to Nha Trang for servicing prep ready for the next adventure .
